Hello! My name is Michael Marinaccio and I am a recent graduate from L-Università ta’ Malta. I received my Master of Arts in Linguistics in 2024, and I received my Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from New York University in 2020. My main research interest is Semitic morphophonology, yet I have also explored contact-induced language change, acoustic properties of phonetic variables, and idiolect change over the lifespan. I work mostly with Maltese, and my master’s thesis focused on the derivation of the Maltese broken plural within a minimalist framework.
